As Concerned Sierra Leonean Women of the Diaspora, we are driven by a single goal: to do our part in making the Sierra Leone a better place for all. Our mission is to advocate for universal human rights in Sierra Leone. In addition, our advocacy work includes expanding the idea of what human rights really are. Water is a human right. Electricity is a human right. Infrastructure is a human right. Easy access to healthcare is a human right. Wireless internet is a human right. It is time we increase our expectations as a nation.
Concerned Sierra Leonean Women in the Diaspora is quickly making progress on our initiatives. Our main categories of focus are advocacy for human rights, support of infrastructural projects, and the protection of women and girls' rights to education and vocational training.
